a (conditional) friend sent me some notes from the talk in hawaii.

gerrit was the keynote speaker.

this occurred 'immediately after the tribulation of those days' (matthew 24:29), referring to the destruction of babylon the great.

last year i turned up to make everyone happy.......but this year i just could'nt force myself to go.

some witnesses called on the day to "encourage" us to go....my mum called to make sure i go.....but i just couldn't put my tie on!

after being on this site for awhile i feel like i have moved on.

real one you are always going on about saving people and doing the lords' work for him.

everyday i get a devotional from a friend and when i got this one i thought about you straight away.

this is in no way an attack on you but it is something to ponder - i've mentioned before it's not up to you to save anyone.. peter had strong opinions about others.

noticed that i'm seeing all these things that i didn't see before... like when the wt or revelaton book states something, or when the bible states something... i mean, i never noticed this many things before... before, i noticed only a few major doctrine issues.

but, now, i'm noticing things all the time.... i mean, i'm trying to take a break.

i'm trying to not pay attention... but, they are saying things that really piss me off and i'm wondering to myself, what the hell was wrong with me... how did i not notice it before???

i understand that the zone overseer is scheduled to give a talk in canada.

many assembly halls and being booked to receive the telephone hook-ups.

do you think that he's coming because he found out that some of our youth are attending university, and he's coming to kick our canadian butts?

i received an email from my sister in law.

she was relating an experience given in a talk at an assembly.

a young couple wanted to have children, but they couldn't conceive, so they decided to adopt a child.

i was told not to even look at them when i studied, but i did not buy the satan stuff about them and said well what have the watchtower got to worry about if they have the truth and no skeletons in the closet ?

i was quite tempted to speak to them and felt rude and judgemental , what did you used to think about them when you were dubs in the trufff ?

2. major organizational changes about to start rolling out, one is changes to the "service committee" and titles, po to be done away with, thats all i know for now.

was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.
